I really love reading your posts dude and as a senior grad student I relate to a lot of your experiences. Just wanted to comment about how much I appreciate your site and how valuable it is to the scientific (and especially wet lab) community. I know you are Ukrainian and I hope you are well and safe. I (and all my fellow scientists) stand with Ukraine. πΊπ¦
A comment about the parafilm plate sealing. In our lab we use electrical PVC tape 12mm. (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Electrical-PVC-Insulation-Tape-12mm-x-33-Metres-Flame-Retardant-All-Colours/283257511086?hash=item41f3769cae:m:m48QfvtIlk6QvQncYWHkLvw)
They do the job, cost way less than parafilm, and are resealable.
Thanks for all the lab hacks!
